Oh no something just broke during your home inspection. What happens now?
Well it is in fact a good thing that something broke. It is far better something broke during your inspection than a couple months down the road. Part of what a home inspector does is to see if everything functions, without breaking, under normal operation. So when something breaks I consider it to be a good thing because I found a defect for my client before it caused additional problems.
So if something breaks during your home inspection, don't worry.
